If this happens, the bruins blue line is going to be pretty crowded. Hopefully the trade expands to multiple players, or the bruins have to have a secondary trade (ie miller/mcquaid)

Or lump in morrow with krejci and hope for a decent prospect in return

Firstly, Krejci has a NMC he would have to waive. And one of the main reasons that the Bruins have been better lately is Krejci's been rounding back into form after his surgery. I could see Spooner part of a package for Shatttenkirk but not Krech.
I think a one for one trade with Krejci would make the Bruin's a worse team. When 46 is healthy, ( and he looks to be now) he is a huge part of the Bruin's offense.
Unless there is some significant forward depth coming back with Shattenkirk this is not a good deal for the B's.
Besides, the Bruins D with Rask on his game looks pretty good right now.
Better to wait, and get a deal that doesn't subtract from the Bruins roster right now.

Both were injured. Schwartz took a Petro shot. Steen reportedly took a Gorges elbow (i didn't see it, just going with what i was told).

Steen was in and out of the locker room a few times according to JR and Lou. Schwartz left for a while and played the rest of the game as I understand it. I believe he took the shot to the left leg but i could be wrong.

Schwartz also practicing right now. Steen is not. Hitch this am said Steen was held out of the game last night for precautionary reasons.

Steen has had concussion issues in at least 2011 and 2013.

With the emergence of Carlo, Chiller + Morrow(when he's in) playing well, Killer about to come back, I don't see this happening without the Blues taking back McQuaid or Killer. Krejci had a slow start but looks like he is coming back into form as well (and has a NMC).

This doesn't makes sense for the Bruins, unless they immediately sign Shatty to an extension. If I'm Don Sweeney I'm not trading Krejci for a rental.

Krejci has had a slow start but he has looked much better in the last few games. When he is healthy he is a sure bet for 60 points. That's very valuable.

Shatty is a great player, but with McAvoy, Zboril, Lauzon and Grzelcyk on the way, it seems like the B's might be better served to just wait for these guys to be NHL ready. The Bruins are playing much better defense as Carlo had reinvigorated the blue line. With Krug getting better, I don't think the B's need Shatty.

I expect Krejci to stay in Boston.
